“How quick bright things come to confusion.” A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies. This production focuses on the rustics who are rehearsing a play in an enchanted forest. The forest is a fairy kingdom with a magic ointment which causes you to fall in love with the first person you see upon opening your eyes. Add a feud between the King and Queen of the forest, a mischievous fairy and unsuspecting mortals and the result is an evening of magic.
